Earth Shield
I am sure even before I learned to use words to communicate, I was already looking around wondering – Why am I here? It was most probably one of the first questions I asked. It is a question that has haunted me throughout my life. I could not find the answer to that question, but I never gave up asking it of myself, and asking the universe – Why?
Strangely enough, this question was answered in two ways when I reached the age of 44. Even more strangely, the answers were ‘given’ to me by some unknown, unseen source. A source I have been in contact with throughout my life.
The first answer came as I was considering the many books I had read, written by authors who had all come upon ‘teachers.’ The teachers shared their wisdom – and found ways to open the inner wisdom within each of the authors. These ordinary men and women came to know a different reality than the one most people inhabit. They then shared their wisdom with the world at large. That Ordinary world.
I cannot really explain how it came about that I received the answer to my question. It came to me as a complete holograph, with all information contained within it outside of the movement of Time & Space. The information this seed contained was simple yet profound. I had no teacher!
Why is that so important? It is to the place I originally come from. To the race that has been in contact with me my entire life. I am sure if they wished to do so, they could physically manifest on the earth. I am sure they could physically interact with us. Talk with us. Show us and Teach us. But they don’t do any of this. Instead they remain – just out of reach – waiting.
The Answer – Part One
Since early childhood, I have been able to listen to and to talk with the Spirit world. What I mean by that is that I chose to seek guidance from a source other than my parents and the humans around me. I was a very young child when many nature spirits came into my room – filling the darkness with light – dancing around my bed and filling the brightly lit room with music.
Why did they do this? So that I would not be lost in the sterile world of man. I now understand it was their way of reminding me never to forget that their world is just as real as ours. Then the lights went out.
Throughout my life I have done what I came here to do. To prove something. Perhaps it was an experiment to see what would happen. However, when I observe how my ‘friends’ work I doubt that they considered any possibility of failure. They are very precise, and they knew it would work. The task was set from the beginning. To start with nothing, and to come through all human difficulties creating – Light.
Without any teachers – seeking my own inner guidance – I was able to grow in Spirit. Discovering on my journey that all there is for each and every human being is a direct connection to the Source . . . . that no one else can teach us . . . . . . . but that we access directly for ourselves.
I came here to find out that any human being can, on their own, connect with source energy and Create their own Reality true to Spirit and true to the Source. My guides were the Spirit World and the World of Nature – the Earth. The most important guide was my own inner navigator, the ability to listen. The unseen Power inside ourselves.
The Answer - Part Two
Whenever I go into the forest, I do not simply walk in nature, receiving from nature – but I look around to see what the earth needs. If I see a tree or a plant that is in need of help, I do what I can. One tree I know was dying. So each time we met I sent energy into its root system – regenerating its growth. The top of the tree renewed its growth and the tree is now healthy again.
During the summer months I went into the forest to thank nature for the changes that had taken place in my life. It was a beautiful warm sunlit day, with no clouds to be seen and a bright blue sky above. I was wearing a light blue dress, jacket and the new shoes I had bought. Celebrating my own beauty with that of the earth.
Inwardly I was stalking the way ahead as a Native of the earth, seeking beauty inwardly as well as outwardly. As I came into the trees I felt a cry of distress. I looked around, and saw a young fir tree lying pressed on its side by recent logging. The tree was growing high on the side of an embankment. The earth was a mixture of clay and sand.
I looked down at my beautiful dress and shoes – maybe I could come back later? I looked up at the tree and I climbed the embankment. It was not easy to keep my balance and be able to pull the tree upright. Then I had to dig and pack clumps of clay into and on top of the roots. But I managed to complete the task, and when I was finished the fir tree was firmly rooted into the earth, standing tall once more.
It had to take care to climb back to the path below, but I made it without tearing my new dress. Naturally I was covered in earth. My shoes were no longer ‘city shoes’, my jacket was a blue sandy clay. I brushed off as much as I could and I looked up at the tree with a sense of achievement. This being would outlive me. The trees outlive most of us. The bond that was created between us lives in my heart. This reality – after all – is our creation.
As I walked back to my car I saw the whole earth throughout the centuries, and all the people upon the earth living through the centuries, all Connected. What we do in this reality affects our journey throughout this universe. The actions we take either empower that sacred journey or deplete it. Seeing the energy of the now is to create a bridge across time.
We are here
on the Earth
So that when we leave
The earth is purer
and the rivers run cleaner,
Than when we arrived.
So that the sea
and all the creatures in the sea
are more abundant,
Than when we arrived.
We are here so that the trees
and the forests
grow healthier,
and the air is purer.
That the animals
and plants flourish,
and that the earth itself
is a garden to all creatures.
